We built Veylo because we were tired of being ignored.
Modern work happens across a dozen tabs, three chat apps, and an overflowing email inbox. When you need to tell your team something right now—"Deploying to prod," "All hands in 5," "Pizza is in the kitchen"—you send a message into the void and hope someone happens to be looking at the right app.
Notification dots are easily ignored. Email is for reading later. We wanted a way to break the glass.
A temporary takeover.
We designed Veylo to be loud but polite. It overtakes the screen, delivering its message with bold typography and motion, impossible to miss. But just as importantly, it leaves.
There is no history to scroll through. There is no reply thread. There is no persistent unread badge making you feel guilty. It's a pure signal: 5 to 20 seconds of visual impact, and then it's gone.
Where we are now.
Veylo is currently in a closed testing phase. The current extension build runs entirely locally in your browser, allowing teams to test the broadcast mechanics, group creation, and styling options on their own machines without connecting to our hosted services yet.
The Roadmap
We're actively building out the infrastructure for a full public release, which will include:
- Hosted real-time cross-computer synchronization
- Hosted team synchronization and expanded administration
- Safari support
- Team administration dashboards
